  • Mirth Connect 3.0 - Connector Types

Just installed Mirth 3.0 and I noticed that there are no LLP Connector Types in the drop down list when defining a Channel.

Am I missing something or did this change from 2.x?

    Thanks,
    Ken

That did indeed change. The LLP and TCP connectors from 2.x have been merged into a single TCP connector. In the TCP Listener/Sender settings, you can now choose the transmission mode, which could be "Basic TCP" (basically plain TCP, with the added option to specify start/end bytes), MLLP (v1 or v2), or even the new ASTM E1381 mode plugin that will be released with 3.0.

The default settings for the TCP connectors in 3.0 mimic the default settings of the LLP connectors in 2.x.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

OK, never mind. I see, via the 3.x Demo Webinar, that LLP has been merged with TCP. Woohoo!

And thanks for the quick response narupley!
