  • Changing Mirth database type during silent install

    Hi Folks,

I have a requirement to do a “silent” install of Mirth Connect. I was able to do that with all the default settings. However the Mirth database that needs to be set is SQL and not the default one.

Is there a way to configure the Mirth database as SQL while doing a silent install?

    Thanks in advance.

First, how exactly are you doing the "silent" install? Basically all you need to do is edit mirth.properties and change the database connectivity information. If all you're doing is unpacking the archive somewhere, you can unpack it, edit mirth.properties, pack it back up, and distribute that instead.
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.
