  • Data in "Incoming data" tab in transformer editor

When editing a transformer with a database source, in some cases a data example appears at "Incoming Data" tab, in many other cases doesn't appear. I don't really know why. Anyone knows why?. Should I press any key?. Should I do something?.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Ricard

The database connector automatically populates the Incoming Data with an XML representation of your DB query. For the other connectors, you can choose to paste in a sample message to make mappings easier.

      Hi Chrisl,

ok, then it should work, isn't it?. I spent last 3 hours working with that channel and no data were displayed. Should I open an issue?. Last week happened the same with another channel but suddenly the information appeared!.

Let me know about and thanks for your help,

      Ricard

If it is a database channel and you clear out the XML on the inbound tab - it won't regenerate unless you change your SQL. Can you post your channel?

        Thanks!
