  • TCP Connection

I am trying to find out if Mirth can be set to listen on a tcp port for inbound traffic with out having the other end started yet. It sounds like both ends are trying to verify the other end before starting. The Hospital I am working with wants my end to be ready and listening before making its outbound connection. The hospital wants to be the client and me the host. Any Ideas.

    Re:TCP Connection

Is the Mirth destination channel sending to the hospital you are working configured with the ip and port of the server that Mirth is running on? Is the hospital's receiving process configured to look at the ip and port defined in the Mirth destination channel?
