  • Determining the Loop for Repeated Segments in an X12 271

    I'm getting a 271 message, and I need to be able to access the different fields within it. However, when it converts it to an XML object, the XML for, say, an NM1 is simply <NM1>, regardless of what loop it is in. That NM1 could belong to different loops depending on its position (2120C, 2100C). Is there a way in Mirth for it to automatically determine the loop, so that we can access the fields of the NM1 of a specific loop, or do we need to determine the loop ourselves?

    for each (segment in msg...2120C)
    {
    for each (NM1 in segment...NM1)
    {
    }
    }
