  • Help with SMB Source Connector

I have a channel that pulls files from another server in my network.

My source connector is smb and it pulls the files just fine. What I would like to do is re-direct the otutput of the move-to and error move-to directories to a folder within the directories that is of format yyyy-MM and create the directory if it doesn't exist.

    So I have tried placing
    Code:
    ${date.get'yyyy-MM')
in the Move-to File Name. By the way this works for the file method just fine. It also works fine when using it in a destination connector.

The error I am getting is:
    Code:
[2012-05-24 12:36:32,054] ERROR (org.mule.impl.DefaultComponentExceptionStrategy:95): Caught exception in Exception Strategy for: 64564674-e293-4d49-a583-4d1a5244594c: org.mule.MuleException: Failed to move file "/groups/anesthesia/CPSI,TEST__CPSI25___103561.pdf" to "/groups/anesthesia/out/24-05-12_12-36-31.772/002b05c5-a5c7-11e1-8960-f8ce9ece1c9bCPSI,TEST__CPSI25___103561.pdf". Is this a bug or and oversight???

    Any help would be apprecited.

The error that you are getting is saying that the file already exists. You either need to overwrite the file, append to the file or write to a different file.
