  • Channels not delploying again in 1.5

    Hello:

After de-installing and re-installing 1.5 the Mirth server won't start preventing the channels to deploy. The Mirth service is up and running. Attached is a TXT file containing the server start log.

    Any suggestions?

It seems that you've another instance of Mirth running yet.

Re:Channels not delploying again in 1.5

      Hello Alberto,

I completely de-install 1.4 and 1.5 and re-installed 1.5. I had the channels deployed once and after saving and deploying again I started getting the same deploying error again. I have checked the system for other instances of Mirth but it seems that only one instance is running.

Is there a process or instance I should be looking for in specific other than the Mirth Server and Service?

I am attaching a copy of the mule-config.xml file.

I am eager to get this working as I have a project hanging on the balance and timeframe.

Thanks for your response and anything you can do to help would be apreciated until we get the support options we would need.

the error messages you've post shows thant the ports 8080 and 80443 are in use: this usualy is because another Mirth is running.

Try (before start mirth) at http://localhost:8080

Mirth process run as "java" at process monitor.

Re:Channels not delploying again in 1.5

I had a similar issue un -installing 1.4 and installing 1.5 on a couple of machines. On one of the machines I went ahead and un-installed 1.5 again, and re-installed. There seemed to be a lingering service or something that was keeping that port in use. Stopping and re-starting the service finally seemed to free up the port although I am almost certain I had done that previously. I went ahead and un-installed and re-installed againt to try to replicate the behavior and was unable to do so. It is now working successfully and I have no real explanation other than the possibility that the uninstall did not remove everything the first time??? It was an issue on 2 boxes, one of which I gave up on and the other I un-installed and re-installed multiple times. If anyone has any insight/explanation I'd love to hear

            Hi Alberto,

I tried your suggestion but unfortunately the channels still wont deploy.

Is there a difference in running the Administrator from the http://localhost:8080 URL on the browser than from the Server Manager or the Administrator icon?

I stoped and re-started the Mirth Service even cleared the Java cache to see if it helps but still having the same problems. I will de-install re-install 1.5 again and see if it has any effect.

When de-installing, Is there any place else other then the Mirth directory and service that needs to be deleted?

            I appreciate your help.

              Hi cord73,

I am taking your suggestion and de-installing and re-installing again. I am not sure but apparently during the de-install it appears that the entire application, services and process are not completely deleted.

Did you had to manually delete or de-install any other instances or files?

Thanks for your response and input.

Once I had the process fully-functional I did not need to manually delete any files or folders. You do need to make sure all instances/sub-applications are stopped. I also found it beneficial to use the uninstall service and then uninstall Mirth, I think this may be the key. Hope it helps.
