    Re:external commands

    Umm are you talking about system commands? If you are, you can write any JavaScript in the transformers and execute anything you want.

      In your Javascript, do:

      Code:
      java.lang.Runtime().exec("your external command"«»);

          Re:external commands

          Do you receive any errors in your logs?

          Try

          Code:
          Packages.java.lang.Runtime().exec("command"«»); //be sure to replace "command" with your actual system call
