Cannot login at admin after 1.5 installation ??

I installed 1.5 over 1.4 and now I cannot login with admin admin anymore. Should I have uninstalled 1.4 first (after save all channels ) ??
I'm running derby, I also installed in a new directory. I know that the admin password is encrypted (derby-database.sql) but what is the decrypted value ?

Are there any tools to verify the database ??

Do the following steps:

Export your channels from 1.4
Uninstall 1.4
Install 1.5
Log in with admin/admin
Import your channels

We are going to try to make the upgrade process smoother in future versions.

I messed things up between 1.4 and 1.5. I just moved the Mirth1.4 folder and installed 1.5 leavinf some desktop icons to the Administrator intact.
Starting Launch Administrator from the Mirth system tray icon (started bu Mirth\\Mirth Manager.exe fixed the mixup (created a new desktop shortcut).

Great, must have been the old shortcut pointing to your old cache.

For anyone else that has this problem, first try clearing your Java cache via Control Panel > Java > Settings > Delete Files. This will remove any old versions of the client you have saved. With the changes in 1.5, this shouldn't be necessary for future releases (it will tell you your version of the client does not match the server).
