Unable to launch Mirth Admin - OSX

Mirth server starts fine:
I goto http://localhost:8080 and click on Launch Mirth Administrator

Then this error: Unable to launch Mirth Administrator
Under general details is : Unable to load resource: http://localhost:8080/activation

any ideas?
