    When I intent recive a message de console says:
    error: violates the minimal lower layer protocol: no start of message indicator recived.

    what can i do?

    This error was resolved when I specified the begin and end character sequence on the HL7 host which sends out the messages (LLP setup on the host):

    Begin Character Sequence: \x0B
    End Character Sequence: \x1C\x0D

      To expand on what nshaik mentioned, you must specify the LLP encoding characters that the sending system users. By default, Mirth includes the standard HL7 MLLP encodings, however your sending system might use a different encoding or character type.

      In general, your encoding should always be set to HEX.
