  • Reg. Xml namespace

    I have outbound message template with data type as xml with namespace included. Namespace is missing in the final processed message.
    Any ideas... I am using 1.8

    Thanks

      Re:Reg. Xml namespace

      How to retain this namespace?
      <message xmlns="http://www.test.com/messaging">
      ...
      </message>

      I have outbound template like this. After the message is processed, namespace is removed.
      How can this be retained.

      Thanks

        Any luck here? I have the same problem I'm unable to get a structure to de-serialize in .NET WCF without the namespace...

          The outbound message template doesn't keep namespaces, but you can add them back in the destination connector. If you are using JavaScript in the destination connector (depending on the connector), it is pretty easy, If you're using a connector with a velocity template (like File Writer) it's a bit more complicated. Here's a quick example I just did...
          Code:
          #set($mystring = ${message.transformedData})
          $mystring.replaceAll("<OutMessage>", "<OutMessage xmlns="[url]http://www.test.com/messaging">"«»[/url])
