  • Replacing all CR/LF in OBX Segments

    Hi all,

I' used a channel with a seperate destination for ORU-R01 Messages. Works fine but if the OBX Segement is a text result (e.g. radiology study report) containing CR/LF, the SQL stored function couldn't be called with SQL Exception 'Result contains more than one row'.

    Now, I've two questions:

First, is it possible to see control characters like CR/LF in the dashboard? I'd like to replace all CR/LF within HL7 Segments to br Tags. But I try

    replace('\n\r','br')

on the OBX message segment. But that doesn't work for me. Can I define a general statement (preprocessing?) that removes all line feeds and carriag returns, before the destinations are called? I only like to preserve the CR/LF at the end of line.

    Thanks in advance.

    Daniel
