  • Problems with mapping XML to XML

    Hi colleagues,
    I thought this is an easy task but I do not manage.
    I have an XML looking like that:

    <ns1:MSH.7><ns1:TS.1>20050505</ns1:TS.1></ns1:MSH.7>

    I want to move the value 20050505 to an XML that looks like that:

    <MSH.7><MSH.7.1></MSH.7.1></MSH.7>

    I went to the 'EDIT Transformer mode' and linked the fields via drag and drop from the 'Inbound message template' to the 'Outbound message template at the right side of the screen. The system offers me a mapping like that:

    msg['ns1:MSH']['ns1:MSH.7']['ns1:TS.1'].toString().

    With testing the channel, data is not passed.
    Where am I wrong?

    If I do it the other way round (meaning exchanging the structures), it is working
    Thank you in advance.
    Best Regards, Doris
