I exported a transformer and now am trying to import it to another channel and destination, but I get an error message 'invalid transformer file'. I am using version 1.7.

    Re:import transformer

Can you show how you exported it? give us a little more details maybe so we can try to help you out.

Can you show the steps you're doing when trying to import it back in?

      Re:import transformer

I used the export transformer routine in the edit transformer window.
      for Export:
I select and edit channel, select a destination and edit transformer, then export transformer.
      for Import:
I created a new destination on an existing channel, edit transformer, then import transformer and choose the file name I gave when exporting the transformer file. I get 'invalid transformer file'.

Even if I try to export and then import the transformer to another destination on the same channel I get 'invalid transformer file'.

      file name I gave: ertransformer.xml

thanks in advance for any suggestions or help
