  • Custom X12 ACK without the 'SUCCESS:' prefix

    I'm trying to build a custom ACK for a TCP Listener receiving X12 messages from Epic/Bridges, which requires an ACK be sent back.

    In the source transformer, I have created the following testing code...

    ack="ISA*00* *00* *ZZ*MIRTH * * *080819*1640*U*00401*169222813*0*T*:~TA1*169222813 *080819*1640*A*011~IEA*1*169222813~";
    responseMap.put('ack', ResponseFactory.getSuccessResponse(ack));

    ...and have set the 'Respond from' on my source connector to the 'ack' variable.

    This seems to be working (sort of). My response variable 'ack' contains the X12 ack string, but is prepended with 'SUCCESS: '

    SUCCESS: ISA*00* *00* *ZZ*ENVOY * * *080819*1640*U*00401*169222813*0*T*:~TA1*169222813 *080819*1640*A*011~IEA*1*169222813~

    How can I set the response so that only the true X12 is sent back to the sender through the TCP connector?

    Are there any better ways to building an X12 ACK for a TCP connector?
