  • using variables in the From field of the smtp conn

I the from and to field of the smtp connector I've set up variables so I can programatically set the from and to addresses. The to field works fine, but the from field does not replace the ${variable_name} token. I've verified in the source code that this won't work, is there a work around?

This might be a crappy workaround but you could (if you planned to use a finite pool of 'from' names) use multiple destinations and filters when sending. Anything more dynamic than that may be an issue.

Yea, I was thinking about that too, but I think it's just too many from addresses.
