  • Outbound Template issue

    Hello All

I am using Database(SQL SERVER) Reader to File writer channel initially for testing.
The channel uses source message builder type transformers to map my database fields to my HL7 Template

On the outbound message template property, if I check the box "Validate in Strict Parser", it always copy the data from outbound template, However if I uncheck that box, it uses only MSH segment transformation (database) correctly. But everything after MSH segment(EVN,PID,PV) it copies from the template instead of the database.

So far, I tried replacing outbound template and emptying data content from segments but with no luck. It copies all but MSH segment from the template to output file.
I am using Mirth Version 1.7.0.3285

I was hoping to test it out using the output file format and eventually switch to LLP output in LIVE setup.

I am new to Mirth so please let me know if we need any further info.

    Appreciate any help.

    Re:Outbound Template issue

    This has been resolved.
I deleted the existing transformer and created new one.

    Resolution:
One of the step in old transformer could have been erroneous. Hence the Mirth engine ,instead of doing a partial transformation, always returned output template.
The best thing to do is start over again creating new steps in Destination Transformer and evaluate the results.

Hope this helps to others having similar issue.
    Thank You
