  • Mirth Restart (MESS!)

Now that we are using multi-threading and we stop and then start our server for updates or issues. It is now a nightmare to get all the channels started.
I have to actually removeAll messages on a few channels in the right order in order for the entire system to start working again. We need these messages but have to remove them or the system won't start. There are loads of gray messages in these channels. Honestly I don't know what the h^(# mirth connect is doing. I have all channels set to deploy in order based on dependencies etc. If we do a proper stop (not a kill) shouldn't this all be cleaned up and ready to go on start?

If I wait, it seems to kinda be processing some grayed messages, but it takes so dam long that we can't be down for that long. It's like 2-3 seconds a message and never finishes.

Any info or help will be appreciated.

I'm confused, are you letting all the messages complete processing before shutting the server down?

Have you tried pausing all channels, wait for the processing to complete, and then stop all channels and restart?
