  • mirth hangs, must restart Mirth Server

    Hi,
    I have a win 2003 r3, Java 1.5.1, mirth 1.6.0.2714.
We were using it for almost one year and since some changes on some channels, Mirth started to hang.
We must then restart the service. Restart the chanell does not fix the problem.
    Here's the affected channel. ADT_1_14_PROD.xml (48509 bytes)

Which database backend are you using for Mirth? How full is it?

It looks like you are storing messages and not pruning them. The database backend for Mirth is likely very large by now which will cause performance issues. Turn on pruning and clear your old messages and see if that helps.

right ! I have changed the parameter.
We use pgsql. Data occupation is about 2 gigs.
      Let's wait and see.

Hrm ok. Postgres should be OK. It can handle a lot more data than that.

Please post back and let us know if pruning solved your issue!

Unfortunately, it did not solve the issue.
The main issue is that mirth does not log any error, which is natural as it is hanging.
          Any idea ?
