  • Output to Channel Reader Mangles ACK Responses

After sending HL7 msgs to a remote system, I want to store the returned ACK responses in a file. The sending channel works great, and I can see the incoming ACK responses in the MIRTH log. The raw response looks fine, and is valid XML, but the transformed response is stangely mangled.
So the channel reader that processes the msgs errors because the incoming msg isn't valid XML.
I'm attaching a file with raw and transformed msgs.
Any ideas on what's wrong and how to fix it?
    Thanks! Messages.txt (1583 bytes)

I'm no expert but i've seen some strange result when the Message Templates do not match with the received message.

In my case there are 2 SPM records in the received message, but there is only one SPM record in the message template.
