    Hey guys,
I am upgrading one of my servers from 3.10.0 to 3.12.0, and got this error when trying to restore my config:

I have tried increasing heap size to no avail, any suggestions?

How large is the config backup you are trying to restore?

Since the orginal poster has not replied - I have had failures on a config restore when the file is very large.

That usually happens becase you have many large inbound message templates (those are the sample messages you put in mirth when editing a transformer or filter on the top right of the screen).
The fasteest way to fix that is to use a text editor on the raw config backup XML and do a regex search and replace, clearing out all of those inbound message templates.

config restore..as in the configuration Map? Isn't that stored in a flat file?
