  • Cannot find function toUppercase

    I don't even know how this can happen. Channel was working, no changes, suddenly I start getting various errors with standard built in commands and not just one, I reinstalled mirth, reimport channel, cannot get any channels working now because of this error:

    Cannot find function toUppercase
    or
    Cannot find function toString

    example code:
    var PatientRace = msg['PID']['PID.10']['PID.10.1'].toString();
    switch (PatientRace.toUppercase())
    {
    case("A"): msg['PID']['PID.10'] = "O"; break;
    case("G"): msg['PID']['PID.10'] = "N"; break;
    case("J"): msg['PID']['PID.10'] = "I"; break;
    case("C"): msg['PID']['PID.10'] = "W"; break;
    default: msg['PID']['PID.10'] = "T"; break;
    }

    ┬┐Do the messages has msg['PID']['PID.10']['PID.10.1'] ?

    You could try:

    var PatientRace =''+ msg['PID']['PID.10']['PID.10.1'].toString();

    switch (PatientRace.toUpperCase())
