  • Handle "web service sender" response with attachments

I need to contact a web service with "web service sender" all works well except the fact that the web service responds with some attachments which I can't find anywhere. Is "web service sender" enabled for this? Can I access them in "edit response" or do I have to use some other methods?

Currently I managed to get them only by calling the web service via HTTP in a "javascript writer" destination and collect them manually from the response.

Right now the Web Service Sender only stores the main SOAP part of the response. Feel free to open a JIRA issue to add other things like multipart attachments, as that sounds like a good idea!

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.

I've opened a JIRA issue to add multipart attachments to Web service sender connector but in the meantime I really need to access the complete raw response, is it available with some tricks?

Otherwise someone has a piece of code to send an http request with an attachment inside (I need to put an attachment in the request too) to the webservice with java.net.URL.openConnection?

Where can I find the code of Web service sender to copy the main parts from?

      Thanks.
