  • SFTP file writer errors

I run Mirth 3.8.0. I have a new channel with an SFTP file writer that won't connect and I cannot figure out the reason. The error is socket timeout. I can connect using Filezilla. I've worked with the SFTP Server administrators a few times when I have these issues and most of the time they do not want to troubleshoot because 'it works in Filezilla'. See settings screenshot. Let me know what other info I can provide. Thanks.

    Filezilla from the same machine?

Can you post your FileZilla screenshot and logs?

EDIT: not same machine. Looking into network config now. Thanks for the heads up.

Ok, working on a separate route now where I can connect via Filezilla from the Mirth server but cannot connect via Mirth client. Should be just straight SFTP port 22. I'm interested to see if there are any known issues with the Mirth SFTP file writer.

Screenshots and filezilla log attached. Thanks for any input you have.

          I experience this earlier:

          Possible Solutions:

          1. When you are connecting from FileZilla it will give you a home path. Try putting exactly the same path in your mirth channel destination. sFTP address. Screenshot attached.
          2. Possibly the cipher mismatch between your Mirth vs Client sFTP setup.

          Hope this will help.

What is in the Mirth logs? What is the host key being used? Has it been depricated?
