  • Timing of when source connector responds with destination response

I have four destinations d1, d2, d3 and d4 configured for a channel (in that order). The source connector is configured to use the response of d1 for its response.

Looking at message timing on the dashboard, it seems that the source connector doesn't responds until all four destinations have completed even though d1 response is available earlier. Is this a feature of Mirth or can I configure Mirth to respond immediately d1 completes?

You could split it into two channels.

The first channel would have dest 1 and a new channel writter to send downstream.

The second channel would have dests 2,3,4 and have no response (so the channel writer in channel 1 returns right away.)

Thanks Agermano, that worked. However, the response transformer of the first channel is never called. Building the response in the postprocessor did work.
