    Hi Folks,

Let me know if you have seen below issue in MC381 and thanks in advance.

i am running MC 3.8.1 on Win2008R2 JRE 1.8.0_161 . this is clustered environment and have 2 nodes processing data in parallel and getting following issue:

    ERROR 2020-06-15 15:06:26,550 [Channel Dispatch Thread < TCP Receiver Thread on <channel name> (2699737f-f51b-4657-9de7-94a871902854) < pool-1250-thread-28] com.mirth.connect.donkey.server.channel.Channel: Error processing message in channel <channel name> (2699737f-f51b-4657-9de7-94a871902854).
    java.lang.StackOverflowError

after this error the server loses all the connections in the connection pool and CPU utilization comes down to 0... but the mcservice exe still runs but does nothing. this also delays the failover and system becomes stale requiring manual attention.

Can you define "clustered" further? Same or different mirthdb? Clustering plugin?

So that means you have a support contract - no answer from Nextgen?

No Answer from Nextgen. Also there is a cluster Plug-in issue for v3.8.1, that i reported and it became a known issue now. with no fix for last 6 months. i have moved to standalone version of mirth which is more stable then cluster plug-in license version. since we are not using all the paid plug-in i may be moving the engine to free version.

Yeah, you are not alone on this, a few others on Slack and here have posted the problem. I have the clustering plugin but don't run it.
