  • Cannot https Mirth REST API locally

    Hello comunity
I am trying to access the Mirth REST API locally from Mirth through a HTTP Sender connector.
I get the exception "unable to find valid certification path to requested target".
However, I can perfectly access any endpoint through https://localhost:8443/api/#!/
Any idea or hint would be much appreciated.
    Thank you

Mirth Connect auto-generates a new self-signed certificate on first startup. You should consider replacing that with your own CA-signed cert. There are instructions in the user guide.

If you're using the SSL Manager, you can import that self-signed cert and choose to trust it for your HTTP Sender destination.
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.

      Thanks for your answer Nicholas.
I don't have a certificate signed by a CA. I am just trying to create a proof of concept in a laptop in order to validate how the Mirth REST API works.
Mirth version is 3.5, running on Windows 7.
