  • Cannot connect to Mirth Administrator

I have mirth connect 3.5.2 on RHEL 7.5 (On AWS).
Following are the details @ server:
    java: "1.8.0_171"
    Mirth: 3.5.2
I have just installed Mirth on the new instance using the installer script.
All installed completely fine, but after downloading the java app to connect Mirth Administrator, it's giving me following error :
"There was an error connecting to the server at the specified address. Please verify that the server is up and running"

I have checked multiple times, the server is running at 8443 and in listening mode.

I even tried to create a new setup on Ubuntu 16.04 with Java "1.8.0_171". Even there it's the same issue.

I am following these steps to install:
    1. install Java (yum/apt-get)
    2. Download shell script to install mirth.
    3. Execute the mirth install script as root.

Please let me know where I am going wrong.

I'm facing the same issue. I'm using Mirth 3.6.1.
      Java version : 1.8.0_192

      Please someone help.

If you're installing Java from the distribution's repository, you're probably getting openJDK. Mirth did not support openJDK prior to version 3.7. While the server could normally run on it without issues, the client will most definitely fail.
