    That's actually called LLP, not TCP. It's the HL7 specific protocol that uses TCP to send HL7 messages with those characters to indicate the start and end of a message. Use the LLP connectors and you should be fine.

    Hi,

    I have a channel that pull information from a database and sends the HL7 message out via TCP. The receiving system needs me to start the message with the ASCII character 0x0b and end it with 0x1c. How can I add those characters to my template? I can't find an escape sequence.
