  • Strange Error in Mirth 3.5

I'm Constructing a sophisticated HL7v2 message parser also I'm converting the incoming message in a JSON format. While saving the code in the source transformer Im getting this null pointer exception. But I dont have any syntax errors in my message also I dont have any channelMaps without being populated by values in both source and destination. Im not sure what causes this error.

I have attached the channel here, let me know if there is any issue on this channel.

Works for me? It threw an error about an index. But if I change the data type on the last step to JSON, it outputs a PDF populated with the velocity info?

        Something Wrong

        Hi Guys,

When I hit save on the source transformer code, this error started to pop up. But I thought something went wrong in the code.

But tried to navigate through through the channels and right clicked to enable it and deploy the channel still the error kept popping up in the dashboard. but the message was sent successfully to the destination.

But still the error kept popping on the dashboard. And this is not the first time I face this issue on Mirth 3.5. I faced the similar issue couple of days as well. Did anyone come across similar issue? Or some bug in Mirth3.5 itself I'm not sure.

Every time we cannot restart mirth and try again right?

Try clearing your java cache and redownloading the jnlp

Are you sure it is because of this channel? I could not able to reproduce the issue.

can you try disabling other channels if deployed and check.

Don't think the problem is related to this channel too.

The trace in your printscreen seems to be tags-related (last 2 visible lines may suggest it), although there aren't any in the published channel. Could you post complete stack trace here?

Have you tried to import it in an alternate / empty Mirth installation?

                      Cannot re-create scenario

                      Hi Guys,

I tried a lot that I can do to re-create the same error/scenario. But I cannot re-create it. I restarted the Mirth service and it started to work again. If I come across the same issue again I will keep this post updated. Right now I cannot re-create it.

I have updated the stack overflow question as well. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...r-in-mirth-3-5
