  • Mirth - Ubuntu Install

I've recently installed the new version of mirth onto an Ubuntu environment, I am able to access the web dashboard via port 8080, but when trying to launch the admin, I get as far as the login prompt, using the default details (or any) I get the error "there was an error connecting to the server at the specified address....".

I have checked that the server is running, all the required ports are open (I believe), I cant see any issue with mirth itself, I have a feeling it may be the java install but unsure what part. is anyone available to provide a list of steps of what to check to rule out this being the case

You can't use openjdk, need to use the oracle version.

        Thanks

After a bit more investigation it was an internal firewall blocking the application.
        Thanks for your help

Even then you should consider moving to Oracle JDK for java!
