  • HL7 Initial Patient Data Loading

    Hi,

I have a very general design question on matching
patient records between two system via HL7.

HL7 Data can of course only be accepted if there is
a match, however before a system can find a match, there
need to be patient data pre-loaded, preferrably a copy
of all patient records sent from one system to another
    one.

My question is if this work can be done at all by
having system A receiving Batched ADT messages from system B
(one at a time), system A add patient record for each PID?

Or, do people use some kind of data loader, such as
reading/import patient data from Excel sheet that is produced
    by system B?

    Thanks
    Software Design.
