How does the JavaScript Reader work? I tried returning true/false and it always triggers the whole channel no matter what.

Ok, it's been almost 5 days now, has no one even tried the JavaScript Reader yet? WebReach?

If you need help quickly, we offer professional support options. This is not a support forum where we are required to respond to every post, and we only respond during our free time. We are trying to build a self-sustaining community on here where everyone can share their problems and solutions while we listen to everyone's important feedback to make Mirth better.

Oh and btw, return a string or list of strings that represent your message(s) in the JS Reader.

Oh ok. It just seems that someone creates a feature, that never gets documented, and expects everyone else to figure out how it works.

Anyhow, thanks for the info. B) Except, the question was how to stop it from triggering.

Trust me, there are enough people on here that know Mirth inside and out, and you would have gotten a response eventually. You just can't expect everyone to jump on your problem and help you, especially over a weekend.

          And, you are welcome

If so, good documentation is a better start.

I'm only trying to help you guys out here.

              Re:Javascript Reader

Anyone know how to stop the JavaScript reader from triggering the whole channel?

              [Edit]
Ok, never mind, figured it out. The "string or list of strings" made me think of a JavaScript array. This didn't help, until I tried the "Packages.java.util.ArrayList" object. It would seem that an empty array list prevents the channel from "triggering".

              Thanks for the hint. B)

                The list part is OK.

But what is the content of the list? Some special Message object? XML?

The contents of your Java List should be Strings that relate to whatever your incoming data type is. If your incoming data type is XML, then each string should be an XML message. If it HL7, then each String should be HL7. Hope this helps!
