  • HTTP Request Failed When Saving Group Changes

I'm in the process of upgrading our Mirth to version 3.4.0.8000. We're also taking this opportunity to switch Mirth to a new server. I exported the full config from our old Mirth (v. 3.1.0.7420) and imported it to the new install. Everything was going well until I started getting the error below when trying to Save Group Changes after assigning channels to a non-default group. This happens regardless of the channel or group I'm trying to save to. I couldn't decipher why the request was failing. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Unable to save channel groups: Method failed: HTTP/1.1 500 Request failed.

Are there any corresponding errors in the server log?
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.

Thank you for the quick response Narupley. There are no errors showing in either the server or event log.

If you manually select from the CHANNEL_GROUP table in your database, what shows up right now?

I can see the 12 groups I was able to setup and the channels currently housed under each group. The only group missing is the default group, but I assume that's normal. I exported the file as text, but it's too long to post here. I can post it in pieces if it might prove useful though.

Just following up after the weekend as the issue is still presenting. I'm still at a loss as to why this is occurring. I'd be grateful if anyone has an idea or insight as I have a poor understanding of what this error message is conveying.
