  • Question about TCP listeners and ACK responses

    Hi,

Until now I have only made filereaders as source connectors. I now have to use a TCP listener.
Does the TCP listener automatically send ACK and NACK messages back to the sender?
If not, what should I do to send them?
Also: Is there an application I could use to test this. Should I create a TCP sender in a channel to test it?

    Thank you,

    Manuel

    No.

The ACK Mirth sends are HL7, so they are only for HL7-based messages, in HL7-based transports. For now, the only HL7 well-known transport is MLLP, so it's the only protocol in which such automation has been developed.
