  • Database Update Fails - Deadlock

I need some help from the gurus around here.

I am getting deadlocks on my On-Update statements. This causes records to not be marked as picked up. Why is this happening and why is it sending the message on when it could not ACK it correctly? What can i do to prevent this. I need this to run at full throttle, so setting it to pick up a record or so every few seconds will not work for me. The Channel is attached in Risk_Factors.xml (169919 bytes).

    Reatabase Update Fails - Deadlock

I got around this problem by using Javascript. Turns out this error is actually returned from SQL Server. Any idea why using JavaScript (default scripting that appears when you select JavaScript, just updated my queries) would alleviate the problem?

    Thanks,
    Frans
