  • Getting the generated SQL string. How?

    Hi,
    I use the typical:
    var dbConn = DatabaseConnectionFactory.createDatabaseConnection ("...
    and then
    var result = dbConn.executeUpdate("SQL to prepare",parameters);

    Is it possible to extract the generated SQL? If so how?

    Or is there an equivalent of the php mysql_real_escape_string() function?
    I would not do a prepared sql statement then.
