  • [FHIR Testing] FHIR Client

I'm trying to use Mirth in order to connect to a real fhir server developed here in Italy.
So I need a Fhir Client, so I tried to use the http sender to place a patient query to the server. I installed the latest mirth and the fhir extension.
The server responds with a json or xml an I am able to parse using the usual mechanism.
Is there a smart way to do so, I mean is HAPI already integrated in mirth, is there a way to access its function from mirth, or I need to download and install the API and start from there?
do you plan to develop a fhir sender also.
    Thank you

Yes we do, and yes you can use the HAPI FHIR library that is included with the technology preview. The example channel also has examples in the JavaScript on how to invoke it. But in general, check out the HAPI FHIR Javadocs for more information.

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.
