  • Looking for an example channel setup for mhtml file to PDF

I am trying to work with HRA data which can be a an mhtml file, pdf file or pipe delimited text file. I then want to convert it to an rtf document and update a sql table in NextGen. I am new to mirth connect and would appreciate any examples or information on how to do this. thank you

The Document Writer can create RTF or PDF documents for you. All it needs is an HTML template. So if you can convert the proprietary data you're receiving to some HTML, then the Document Writer will handle the rest.
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.

ok, but when I view the message from the source in the channel the mhtml file is garbage, same with the message for the pdf? I am also working on the pipe delimited message, but I am not sure I have my settings correctly configured. when reading a pdf what type would be configured as? xml? Sorry, I read the manual that comes with it, but there are not crosswalks on what type goes with what file of if there is I missed that page.
