  • weird output with FTP writer

    Hi all,

i'm using a FTP-writer on a channel, but the resulting file (on the remote server) looks very weird (something binary).
To be sure that my source (LLP) isn't the cause of the problem, i also created a File-writer and the output to that destination is correct.

It looks like something is wrong with the encoding but i cannot choose another encoding with FTP-writer.

Somebody any ideas what is going wrong?

    Thanks in advance,

    ps: i'm using Mirth 1.7

    Re:weird output with FTP writer

Checking the ASCII-radio button as the FileType solved the problem.
I overlooked this since I expected the same behavior as with an ordinary ftp-client where ascii-mode just removes the CR (carriage return) for each line in the file and I wanted to transfer my files 'untouched'.
