  • Increasing heap space to 2048m won't let start Mirth

I setup the mcserver.vmoptions and the msserrvice.vmoptions on my System like followed:
    -server
    -d64
    -Xms1024m
    -Xmx2048m
    -Djava.awt.headless=true
EDIT: Anyway, if I now try to start the service I get no related error message in the logs of mirth.

I am using Mirth 3.2.1.7650 and JRE 8u60. I got the same error when I was still running JRE 8u5.

The awkward thing is, if I setup the files like this:
    -server
    -d64
    -Xms1024m
    -Xmx1024m
    -Djava.awt.headless=true
    It just works fine.

The problem is, I have to increase it because my pruner just won't work and increase my database. Each message is 300k in my database because there is a PDF encoded.

    Any hintss are welcome.

    thanks and best reagrds

Maybe you don't have enough RAM on the machine itself?
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.
