  • Debugging Javascript in Mirth

    First, I find that "logger.info" does not work in 1.7.0. The log statements do not show up in mirth.log. Worked fine in 1.6.1. However, "logger.error" works fine in 1.7.0

    Second, I find that Mirth embeds the Mozilla Rhino engine for Javascript interpretation. Rhino has a debugger you can download from the Mozilla website. Is there any way to use the Rhino debugger for debugging Mirth scripts?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    I also search for a way to debug my JavaScript step by step.
    To your problem with logger.info => try to set the Main Log Level and the Database Log Level to "Info" in the Mirth Server Manager on the tab Server.

      try

      java.lang.System.err.println("debug Msg");

      This will write the msg to stderr which is displayed within the Mirth Administrator
