  • Filename Filter Pattern question

    Hi Guys,

My channel needs to accept files with two distinct file extensions (".reported" and ".failed"). Is it possible to use a regex in the Filename Filter Pattern on the source tab of a File Reader?

If so, could someone provide an example?

Why you don't create two channels ? I think that is teh easiest way.

      Re:Filename Filter Pattern question

You can use a Filter, using the original file name var to filter.

But it could be a good improvement... ┬┐Could you add it to the JIRA?

Will do. For now, I'll use a Source filter.

        Thanks, Guys!

You could have just used this regex - [a-zA-Z0-9]*.[reported|failed]*
