  • Lifetime statistics are reset after database restore

    Hi

I created a database backup and restore procedure.
i succesfully took a full backup of the mirthdb database and restored it on another server.

MirthConnect launches, but I see that all statistics (even the lifetime statistics) are reset to 0 for all my Channels.

Is this normal behaviour? Is there a way to restore the statistics as well?

    Thank you very much!

    Kind regards

I could be mistaken, but if you installed Mirth on another server, it generates its own GUID attached to that instance. The stats you backed up from the other instance would then all have different GUIDS attached to them.

Yes, that's correct. If you want you can restore the server ID as well, in the appdata/server.id file. Just make sure two instances aren't connecting to the same database with the same server ID.
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

      - How do I foo?
      - You just bar.
