  • api for finding latest mirth connect version

    Hi all

Is there an API that we can call on the web to determine the latest version of Mirth that's been published?

I've been trying to parse the results of the archive download, but it seems that's not a reliable solution.

    Any thoughts?

There's not really any API, but you could technically do GET request to our hosted Javadocs:

Incrementally change the version until you don't get any hits. For example, 3.2.0 gets a hit, so then try 3.2.1 (404), 3.3.0 (404), 4.0.0 (404), and thus conclude 3.2.0 is the latest.

Also, note that as of 3.1 we automatically push notifications to the Administrator, so you'll know when a new version is released. Like this:

Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.
