    Re:Mirth1.7 and Dicom

    Hi

Did you ever get a chance to upload the sample "dicom" channel.

It would be very helpfull as a starting point. So far we are a stucked, not being able to send image or dicom echo the channel we create.

Is there a way to specify the AE Title of the sending application and/or receiving application ? I could not find it.

    Please continue the good work.

    Thanks for your help

    Eric

      Re:Mirth1.7 and Dicom

      Dear all,

Does anybody have any solution to the issue Eric described?
We created a 'Channel4Dicom' channel (Mirth Version 1.7.0.3285) whose parameters are the followings:

      - Incoming Data: DICOM
      - Source: Connector Type = TCP Listener
      Listener Port = 2104
      Data Type = Binary
      - Destination : Connector Type = File Writer (with ${DICOMMESSAGE} Templare)
Transformer (ChannelMap) with Mapping = DICOMUtil.getDICOMMessage(messageObject)
Impossible to put Inbound Message Template...

We're trying to dicom echo on port 2104 without any success...

Some parameters may be useless but I prefer describing as much as possible.
The solution may have been given in former messages. In such case, I do apologize ;-)

      Thanks for your help.

        Re:Mirth1.7 and Dicom

At the moment Mirth does not support Dicom Communication. So the only way to get Dicom images into mirth is by using a file reader.
The Mirth Dev-team is developing plugins bassed on DCM4CHE Toolkit for dicom communication, but i have not seen a date for when they are released.

Any update on if and when a plugin would be available?

                Re:Mirth1.7 and Dicom

Was the missing class the cause of the problem? I think I'm having the same problem but have installed 1.7.1 from scratch.
