  • \X0A\ Escape sequence

    Hello,
I have a LLP Listener channel with "Use Strict Parser" checked, when an incoming message contains line feed escape sequence ( \X0A\ ) or carriage return ( \X0D\ ) Mirth removes \ characters. If "Use Strict Parser" is unchecked \ characters aren't removed.

    Mirth version: 2.2.1

That is likely due to a bug (or bugs) in HAPI: http://hl7api.sourceforge.net/changes-report.html

Looks like some things were fixed in 2.2, but right now we're still using 1.1.
Step 1: JAVA CACHE...DID YOU CLEAR ...wait, ding dong the witch is dead?

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

    - How do I foo?
    - You just bar.
