Please reference the similar post. Looks like wit-man is on top of it and I concur with his opinion as well as the over all direction of this post. Here is the CMS FAQ

We have begun the process of moving off the connections that are required for MU from Mirth. Other vendors charge by the connection so we should be able to get the minimum package and be compliant as right now we only have 2 connections that are going through Mirth that will be used to meet MU - most require a minimum of 5 connections for purchase.

All others will remain on Mirth. I am not particularly happy about supporting two interface engines but right now it is the most cost effective solution we have.

Slingshot, I looked for the same thing, and eventually had to send a complaint to CMS help desk to find the original post. The old FAQ # was 10589, new one is 3209 (go figure). The link to it is here. Don't know if it changes your view or not.

FYI to everyone following this thread:

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

          - How do I foo?
          - You just bar.

            Yes, thanks Narupley,

We literally received an email from mirth the day before we were going to start our project to move our interfaces so now we don't have to move them! Great news!

Transmission of data to other entities. For example, transmission of immunization data.
