  • Unable to find FHIR extension for Mirth 3.7.1 or 3.8.0

    HI,

I'm unable to locate a FHIR extension for Mirth Connect 3.8.0.

Is such available OR should the FHIR extension for 3.6.0 be compatible?
If available then where might I locate the download (as I've been unsuccessful so far)?

    Cheers, Andy

    Running OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 11.0.2 on Windows Server 2012 R2 (6.3, amd64), postgres, with charset windows-1252

Our webpage for Connect is here: https://www.nextgen.com/products-and...gration-engine

If you scroll down a bit you'll see a section on FHIR, with a link to download the latest version of the plugin. Hope that helps!

Always include what Mirth Connect version you're working with. Also include (if applicable) the code you're using and full stacktraces for errors (use CODE tags). Posting your entire channel is helpful as well; make sure to scrub any PHI/passwords first.

Can the Fhir Connector (version 3.8.1) support R4?

Unable to acces to Mirth afetr FHIR module install

            Hi all,

after installing FHIR version for 3.8.1 , I'm unable to access to mirth. If I delete fhir from extension directory I can acces, but once fhir extension installed, mirth client fails with this error:

Unable to create cache directory for extension: fhir

I did a search in google without clues. Somebody could help me?

            Thanks in advance,

            RB

I'm getting the same error with Mirth Connect 3.9.1 (Docker version) with FHIR extension fhir-3.9.1.b278.zip.

                Found a workaround:
                - seems to be related to file/directory permissions
                - when installing the fhir extension, you need root permissions
                - just start the admin launcher wit sudo:

                Code:
                cd /opt/mirth-administrator-launcher
                sudo ./launcher
                - after installing the extension, restart the server and the admin client.
                - now it should be possible to start the admin launcher without root permissions
